1) What was the main Stieglitz's interest? What's Pictorialism and what is Naturalism? Did he stayed devoted to this movements? What do you see on his photographs?

Stieglitz’s main interest was to promote photography as art. Because pictures were known as advance of science, Stieglitz wanted to change people’s view on photography. Pictorialism is basically embracing pictures as art, the same kind of art as a drawing or painting. Naturalism is a literary movement that used detailed realism to suggest that social conditions, heredity, and environment had inescapable force in shaping human character. Throughout the year he did stay devoted to his movements. He was one of the very persistent artists that wanted his believe to be viewed the same way through the eyes of everyone. His photographs are very detailed and capture very realistic movements. He focused not only on one particular object, but the atmosphere of the photo.

2) What was White's impact on photography as a medium? What do you see on his photographs?

By changing his medium to a camera, he did not have to expose himself to "illiterate viewers.” He liked to explore different things and perhaps poetry was becoming too easy for him. White was a very religious and spiritual man and because of this, many of his pictures arose from such moments.

3) What do you see on Man Ray's photos? Are they similar or absolutely different than Steiglitz's photos?

I believe that Man Ray’s photo portrayed emotions. He captured different moments of emotions and displayed them through creative art. His pictures are absolutely different than Stieglitz’s photos when you compare them side by side. Ray doesn’t really focus on the whole picture (ex. atmosphere) as Steiglitz did, but both of their imagines have significant meaning in capturing photography.

4) What do you see on Moholy-Nagy's photographs?

Moholy-Nagy’s photo is very advanced in the sense that it portrays images from far but the meaning surfaces through the whole image. His work of art seems very creative and expresses his character.

5) Are these photographers painters? Do they all paint with their cameras or maybe only some of them?

In my perspective, I would say that all of these photographers are painters. They all display creativity, emotions and expressions in their photographs. They all paint with there camera because in order to capture an image, you need to be very thoughtful in how your going to do so, they all did this through their photos and left significant meaning back on the history of photography.
